Hannah Joseph Studio | ELEVATE Brand Photography and Video Shoot, London

Hannah Joseph is a Kundalini yoga teacher, illustrator, and the founder of Hannah Joseph Studio. Her offerings are daily gentle yoga classes that have become a lifeline for a community of loyal students, seasonal courses weaving yoga with creative practice, boutique retreats in Sicily, bespoke illustrated astrological birth charts. Five years of teaching. A Master's in Illustration. Certifications in Kundalini Global Yoga, Hatha, Yin, and breathwork. Bilingual. Sober. Someone who has done the real work.

And yet her visual brand was not reflecting any of that depth.

She came to me at a moment of transition. After years of healing, playing small, and experimenting with offerings, she was ready to be seen. Really seen. She wanted to scale her business, reach new people, and finally have a visual presence she was proud of. What she had was scattered, underpriced, and carrying a visual language that didn't match where she was going.

We booked an ELEVATE shoot: a half-day brand photography and video session, shot across a London photography studio, designed for wellness entrepreneurs and creatives who are already in motion but need visual content that communicates the full weight of their work.

Like all of my clients, Hannah was given access to my Notion client portal. That's where the real preparation happens. She worked through questionnaires designed to pull out the essence of her brand, her values, her aesthetic, her client, what she wants people to feel when they encounter her work. It's not admin. It's excavation. Hannah told me she appreciated that structure; it made her feel held and prepared going into the day rather than arriving cold and hoping for the best.

We sat down for our 30-minute strategy call before the shoot. I needed to understand what she was actually trying to communicate: the gentle discipline of her Daily Gentle Yoga community, the esoteric and embodied nature of her Kundalini teaching, the intersection of movement and illustration that makes her work genuinely unlike anything else in the London wellness space. We mapped her upcoming offerings, the creative energy she wanted to carry into the content, and the visual direction that would feel true to where she is now and where she is growing.

Then we went to work.

As a London brand photographer and videographer working with wellness entrepreneurs, I chose a photography studio environment deliberately. With Hannah's soft pink, sage green and coral palette, and the luminosity of her brand, a controlled studio space gave us full command over light and atmosphere. We left with 40 edited brand images and 50+ colour-graded video clips.

What does a half-day brand shoot in London actually produce for a wellness entrepreneur?

It's not just pictures. It's a website that finally communicates her authority. An About page that carries presence. Sales pages for the Sicily retreat, the Daily Gentle Yoga subscription, the astrology charts, the seasonal courses, that stop feeling like a rough sketch and start doing actual work. It's brand video content for the platforms she has been wanting to show up on more consistently, speaking on camera with ease instead of dread.

Hannah's brand sits at the intersection of a few things most photographers would flatten into one: the grounded and the mystical, the creative and the disciplined, the accessible and the deeply experienced. The beige wellness aesthetic would have swallowed her whole. We didn't go there.

Her work deserves to be found. It deserves brand images and video that match the transformation her students describe, the ones who tell her that her Kundalini classes are unlike anything else out there, who keep coming back season after season, who fly to Sicily to practice yoga and draw in the garden with her.

That's what brand photography is for. Not to make you look like a professional. To make the outside finally match the inside.

If you are a yoga teacher, wellness professional, or creative entrepreneur in London looking for a brand photographer and videographer who understands the depth of your work, book a discovery call.
